Yup. What the title says. So last Saturday I ordered my new weight set. The thing is pretty sweet. It comes with the 45 lb olympic bar and 300 lbs worth of weights. 
However I asked my friend Charlie(Amandas dad) to come with me to pick it up at the West Hartford Sears because it comes with a 7 ft bar and it is too long for my car and Charlie has a van. So Monday night I worked late so we were unable to get it. Tuesday night he worked late so we couldn’t get it then either. Wednesday I had small groups and it was too much of a push between when he got out of work and small groups.
So tonight we went to pick it up. I go in and scan my reciept. The guy comes out and says that “we don’t have it in stock”. He then explains that when soemthing is ordered online it doesn’t count that days orders and if it shows taht they have it in stock then the order goes through. However when it goes through it doesn’t put my name on it so if it sells out then it sells out.
he then says I can reorder it in teh sporting goods section. So I hed over to teh sporting goods section and I start to reorder it. I ask them if I can have it sent to teh meriden one instead because that is closer. She says sure. And she asks me if I will be driving by the meriden one on teh way back. I said I could(just take 84 to 691 and there ya go). She said that would take a lot of the confusion out of it.
I thought well that makes sense. No big deal. And maybe they already have it in stock. So I head to Meriden. They look and they dont have it in stock. However they don’t even normally carry it. So it would have to be specially ordered. And I would have to pay for it again. And get my money back for the one I already ordered by going to sears.com or head back to West Hartford.
Ridiculus. Anyways because of all this I am putting a projection start date of March 5th as my first day of working out. That will give me ample time to research a good workout program for teh set I have as well as a great nutrition program as well.

Yeah, dealing with Sears really does suck. I have my own Sears horror story as well, so I feel your pain. Whatever you do, don’t try to get anything delivered by Sears that’s all I am going to say about my experience. Good luck
Ya. needless to say this will probably be my last time. Don’t think I ever dealt with Sears in more than just buying something quick while at the Mall version of sears. Will probably still do that since it doesnt involve much, hwoever this is teh last time I order anything from them.
