READ: John 11
MY KEY VERSE :John 11:16 Thomas, nicknamed the Twin,[c] said to his fellow disciples, “Let’s go, too—and die with Jesus.”
MY REFLECTIONS : Could you imagine if we all had the attitude like Thomas showed here? Jesus was about to go back to Judea to do an amazing miracle. However people over there wanted to kill Him. He knew it, as did His disciples. But Thomas still said “Lets go!”
And they did go. Because they all went they saw Jesus raise Lazarus from the dead. But right before that they saw something amazing. Jesus wept. Another pretty popular verse. And it says so much. It showed Jesus compassion. It showed that He felt a loss when someone so close to Him died. And it showed His human side. It showed that He can certainly relate to us.
MY PRAYER : Lord I pray that I could be like Thomas. I pray that I could have the attitude he showed when You asked him to go. I pray that I can say yes. I pray that I can say Lets go!. I pray that not can I say it, but mean it and do it.
