Well…here we go. I am not too much of a blogger but I am gonna give it a try.
Its funny. You would think I am a huge blogger if you go to the guys small groups. I am always telling stories after stories of crazy things that happened. But since this is my first post I am going to go off of the past few months of my life.
It all started in late August. The 27th I believe. I was in a car accident. I know what you are think. How can a car accident be good?
Well God has a mysterious way of working. At that time I was having engine problems with the car. Could not figure out what they were. And due to teh car accident I was able to upgrade my 1997 Oldsmobile Achieva with well over 100,000 miles for a 2000 Dodge Intrepid with 72,000 miles.
Then within a couple weeks of that I was hired at AT&T. I have always had a job. but thats it. Its a job. Now I have a career.
Its a place I can spend 30 years at and retire from. BUT there is somewhat of a downside of the job. However I will get back to that in a little while.
A couple weeks after that I moved in with my cousin. Now I have been trying to get a place of my own for years. A lot of things came up and always ruined the plans. God is funny like that. Everything has to work in His timing.
But its all good like that. Now I have pretty much a perfect situation. Rent is low. And I live with my cousin. How great is that?!
But back to my job. For most of my time here I was a Monday through Friday schedule. Its nice like that. But now I am on what you call a trick schedule. Pretty much I have diferent days off every week. I was originally scheduled to work today as well as in 2 weeks.
This presents a problem with me. Church is big for me and I don’t like missing it at all, especially for work. So I have been praying a lot about it. And God again is great. He knows and takes care of me.
Yesterday my boss called me and asked if I wanted to change my schedule for this week. I would have Sunday off and work Wednesday instead. I also told him about the 23rd, since it is a big day at church, and he said that they would work with me.
So God is working and I should be ok. But be sure to keep that in prayer. I definitely will be.

It is awesome to see how when God’s people put Him first in all they do God does amazing things!!! Matthew 6:33 being lived out. What a great testimony and Im so glad you are a leader in LP.
